| THAT the Legislative Assembly express its solidarity with and support for the Franco-Ontarian community and the MPP for Glengarry−Prescott−Russell, Amanda Simard, in their fight for the survival of French-language institutions, including the eventual establishment of the Université de l’Ontario français; THAT it condemn this latest violation of the rights of a Francophone minority community in Canada; THAT it recognize that the survival of the French language remains precarious within our country and requires constant vigilance; AND THAT the Franco-Ontarian flag be raised in front of the Legislature. |
